Andres Forero  –Torres, M.D., is a Professor of Medicine with Tenure in the Division of  Hematology/Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), and  scientist in the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center in which he holds several  titles including: Director, CCC Breast Cancer Research, Chairman of the  Clinical Trials Monitoring Committee and Breast Cancer Working Group.  In addition, Dr. Forero is an Associate  Scientist with the UAB Minority Health Disparity Research Center and is the  O’Neal-Sokol Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama Endowed Professor  at UAB.  Dr. Forero is founding member  of the Translational Breast Cancer Research Consortium.
